Join us for *free digital workshops designed to help small businesses communicate more effectively in the digital age. You will be provided with an overview of digital platforms and tools available, plus offer advice and tips on using these tools to effectively promote your business.

Participants will learn more about social media tools such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Snapchat, and be guided through a series of hands-on skills with the latest advice.

This session will focus on visibility in the marketplace. What are the available platforms, which ones are most suitable, and what is best practice for creating profiles, accounts and security settings. Attendees will learn about the latest features and how to use existing features in a more engaging and effective way. Participants will also receive advice on developing marketing strategies based on data and insights offered within digital platforms.

This workshop is best suited to businesses within the following industries: Retail, Hospitality and Recreation.

Requirements

Devices: Please bring your own device with you. This can be a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Your device must have Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Snapchat already installed. For smartphones and tablets these can be downloaded from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

Social Media Accounts: Ensure you have passwords and access to your personal Facebook account.

Email: Please ensure you can access and sign into your email account from your device.

• Eligibility requirements apply. Participation in this course requires participants to delare they are engaged or employed in a small business ( for the purposes of this course a small business is a business with a turnover of less than 2 million dollars).
