Poor manual handling practice is one of the most common causes of injury in the workplace and the injuries can be disabling and costly. “Manual handling” means any activity requiring the use of force exerted by a person to lift, lower, push, pull, carry or otherwise move, hold or restrain a person, animal or thing.

This course is designed to show the participant how to perform daily activities using the correct posture and adopting strategies that will minimise the risk of injuries.

This course is a non-accredited course but does provide vital information for the participant including power point presentation, hand outs and practical demonstration
