Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate II in Hospitality SIT20316.
- Prepare rooms for guests (SITHACS003)
- Interact with customers (SITXCCS003)
- Prepare and present sandwiches (SITHCCC003)
- Use hygienic practices for food safety (SITXFSA001)
- Prepare and present simple dishes (SITHCCC002)
- Clean premises and equipment (SITHACS001)

This Skill set provides the candidate with the basic skills to enter into the hospitality industry in the areas of cafes, restaurants, bistros or motels/hotels. On completion of this course participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. Should the candidate decide to study further in hospitality, the units completed will gain recognition of prior learning towards the Certificate II in Hospitality
