Beginners Yoga & Meditation for Stress Management & Wellbeing

This course is being offered on-line only using Zoom. In order to participate in the class participants will need to download the free Zoom app and have access to the internet on their chosen device ( phone or laptop etc).
The Zoom meeting host ID and password will be sent out to all enrolled participants prior to course commencement. Participants use this information to gain access to the Yoga class.

This 8 week course is for beginners and continuing students. It’s for people interested in techniques for stress management, better mental and physical health and relaxation. You will learn yoga sets, meditations and breathing exercises to manage mood and maximise wellbeing. Scientific research proves a regular practice of yoga and meditation can reduce heart rate and blood pressure, increase lung capacity and help treat conditions such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. Exercises can be modified for those with mobility issues, injuries and health concerns. Marilyn Wilson (Manshant Kaur Khalsa) is a Kundalini Yoga Senior Teacher and Professional Teacher Trainer with the Kundalini Research Institute in the USA, training people to become yoga teachers in Mexico, Bali and Australia since 2016. She is a qualified 500-hour teacher Level I- 200 hours and Level II – 300 hours. She is currently completing Level III which is of three years' duration and will qualify her as a Master teacher. She will be your instructor for the course.
